Barn at Lone Eagle Landing

We had the honor of providing entertainment for Danielle and Jake’s wedding on August 31, 2019 at the beautiful Barn at Lone Eagle Landing. Barn at Lone Eagle Landing is a breathtaking rustic venue, nestled in the middle of one of Missouri’s scenic wine regions, St. Genevieve. Right around other winery-styled themes, Barn at Lone Eagle Landing’s specialty rustic vibe fills a tad-bit of a void in the region. Gorgeous exterior, landscaping, and a large rear patio makes the outside absolutely perfect. Complete that with a rustic/posh interior, complete with a spiral staircase leading to a loft, and you have the makings of a perfect venue for a late-August wedding for Danielle and Jake.

Our ceremony started promptly at 3; beautiful sun shining through overcast clouds made for incredible photos and an even more beautiful union. We were setup in the back corner of the barn which meant all we had to do was move a speaker around, so that we could cover the ceremony as well. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen sauntered down the aisle, followed by the bride and her father. Out of the massive sliding doors, across the paved patio, and down the stairs, they went. Across the field, to the back row of chairs, set to a beautiful cover of “From This Moment” by Caleb and Kelsey. When she got to the arbor, the officiant started the ceremony. Through the middle of the otherwise standard ceremony, the bride and groom were led to a separate patio where they would brand a piece of wood for their unity ceremony. It was beautiful, and something so unique, we have never seen it before.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom were swept away for some photos from their photographer. We kept a good mood on in the barn, with a heavily-country playlist to match the atmosphere, and also the bride and groom’s taste. The mood was incredible; everybody drinking, enjoying the day, and enjoying the property. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: there is nothing that beats the entertainment of a couple of acres and countless outdoor games. Yard games are the absolute best, especially at an outdoor venue. It was everything I could do to not join in on a game of cornhole.

Finally, when the bridal party came back, we rocked the grand entrance. Everybody was excited, jamming to “Party Rock Anthem” - LMFAO, their chosen grand entrance song. It really set the mood.

Dexter’s Barbecue out of Farmington did the catering, and it was delicious! After a quick blessing, I released tables for dinner individually. Dinner wrapped up, we called for seconds, and we started on toasts! The best man, Nick, grabbed the microphone, ran up the spiral staircase, and gave an incredible toast full of laughs, stories, and jokes at the bride and groom. When he was finished, the maid of honor, Kerri gave her speech through Megan, a bridesmaid. Both were unique and fun!

Now, after some dances with parents and bouquet and garter toss, we opened the dance floor and partied all night long! It was crazy fun. We jammed to 90’s and 2000s hits all night long, and kept the party going! House DJ was definitely present that night, and we definitely did an incredible job for Danielle and Jake.

Danielle and Jake, thank you for the opportunity to serve you! Your venue was gorgeous, food was great, guests were so fun, and you both looked great! Your party was rocking, and will be one to remember for years to come!
